Privacy — Aura Health
Aura Health is the part of Aura, my personal research system, that reads my own Fitbit data. It has one user: me.
- What it reads
- Heart rate, heart-rate variability, steps, active minutes, sleep and the related daily readings from my own Google account. Read-only; it never changes anything.
- Where it goes
- Onto my own computer at home. It is not sent to anyone, sold, shared or used for advertising.
- How long
- Only as long as the study needs it.
- Stopping it
- Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Google's rules
- Aura Health's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
